Though One Go With Me is the sequel to Pastor Blackstone's first book, Though None Go With Me, which retraces the steps of a Maine pastor back to the fabled land of India. This time the 'one' is the pastor's daughter, Marnie. Travel along as Blackstone introduces his daughter to her first taste of hot, spicy foods, an auto-cart ride, playing with elephants, and traditional Malayalam dress. Once again journey through the State of Kerala on a Sunday Safari into the tea mountains of India, take a sunset stroll along the sands of Kovalam Beach, and enjoy the uniqueness of wearing a pepper necklace around your neck and eating with your fingers. Witness and wonder as Marnie drinks coconut milk straight from the shell, goes on a shopping spree for a beautiful sari, enjoys the smell of a jasmine and rose myla, and experiences the G-Mart (India's version of Wal-Mart). The purpose of this second trip to Edyappara was to be graduation speaker at Kerala Baptist Bible College, where the pastor had taught for 40-days on his first trip, and to deliver a half a million rupees to a small congregation in Venmony so they could start building a church sanctuary and parsonage. Relive the adventures of a father and daughter as they trek through a tropical paradise filled with hospitable people, amazing animals, and breath-taking scenery in their own version of 'The Amazing Race'!

My India Song

Enlarge My Coast tells of Pastor Blackstone's return to India to see the completion of a project inspired during his first trip to the subcontinent of Asia in 2006. This time his traveling companion will be a church deacon of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Russ Coffin. Blackstone and Coffin travel to Kerala State to help in the dedication of the new Venmony Baptist Church sanctuary and parsonage built through the support of their ministry in Maine. Once again Pastor Blackstone is able to share the wonders and wants of India through the eyes of another adventurous traveler. Enjoy with them the fascination of watching a working elephant beside a rural road; the attempt of catching on film five people on a motorcycle at one time; a houseboat ride on Kerala's largest lake; listening to Russ's first sermon; graduation day at Kerala Baptist Bible College; an Indian barbeque of pancakes and omelets; of trying to find a bell for the college in the busy and confusing markets of one of Kerala's biggest cities; and an auto-rickshaw ride through rubber tree-lined lanes, banana grove-covered valleys, and an Indian road repair crew! As in his other India books, Though None Go with Me and Though One Go with Me, share the practical spiritual lessons Pastor Blackstone learned on this, his third "India journey" and his first mission trip to the State of Andrah Pradesh as the guest evangelist for the Independent Gospel Baptist Churches of India. Share in the personal experience of a daylong journey on the infamous Indian railway into the backcountry of central India, of driving a bullock cart, eating an Indian catfish, making friends with a dog named Ellie, preaching in a thatched-roof church, being surprised by a police raid at four in the morning, and witnessing more people coming to Christ at one time than at any other time in the pastor's ministry. Journey for a month into the unpredictable land of India and enjoy the surprises around each corner as Pastor Blackstone travels to three Indian states and gets to meet fellow pastors from five states. The fellowship will be sweet, the food will be hot, and the friendships made will be eternal!

The Texas Rangers Trilogy
Author: Elmer Kelton
Publisher: Forge Books
In 1999, with Forge's publication of The Buckskin Line, Elmer Kelton launched a series of novels on the formative years of the Texas Rangers. In Texas Justice, the first three of these critically acclaimed books are now brought together in a single volume. In The Buckskin Line, Kelton introduces the red-haired boy captured by a Comanche war party after the massacre of his family. Rescued by Mike Shannon, a member of a Texas "ranging company" protecting settlers from Indian raids, the boy known as Rusty is adopted by the Shannon family. In 1861, Mike Shannon is ambushed and killed, and Rusty follows in his footsteps and joins the Rangers. In the throes of the coming War Between the States, Rusty searches for the Confederates who lynched his adoptive father and awaits meeting the Comanche warrior who killed his family two decades past. At the end of the Civil War, Rusty Shannon is thrown adrift when the Rangers are disbanded, and makes his way to his home on the Red River, where he hopes to marry the girl he left behind, Geneva Monahan. But as Badger Boy, the second novel of the saga, unfolds, Geneva has married another man in Rusty's absence. Faced with this betrayal, he must contend with the hate-filled Confederate and Union soldiers infesting Texas and with the continuing Indian raids against innocent settlers. Rusty's own childhood captivity returns to haunt him when he rescues Andy, a white child called Badger Boy by his Comanche captors. In The Way of the Coyote, Andy rides with Rusty Shannon as the Rangers are re-formed in postwar turmoil. With Texas overrun with outlaws, disenfranchised Confederate veterans, nightriders, and marauding Comanche bands, Rusty tries to resume his pre-war life. When his friend Shanty, a freed slave, is burned out of his home by Ku Klux Klan and Rusty's own homestead is confiscated by a murderous band of thugs, he must follow perilous trails before he can put the war and its aftermath behind him. Texas Justice is not only a masterful re-creation of the early years of the Texas Rangers, it is vintage Elmer Kelton, the undisputed master of the Western story. The primary goal of this book is to bring you the bible in a new and exciting way that will strengthen your relationship with Jesus through an entertaining story. It’s Christian Fiction so there are a ton of scriptures in the book with good sermons and songs that should be a blessing to you. It’s Christian Sci Fi so there are some new technologies that are based in the future that are really cool and exciting inventions of mine. The most exciting technology to my knowledge has never been done in Sci Fi and is found at the end of the book it is called a SHIFT being which is an acronym for the description of the new technology. You’ll have to get the book to find out what this technology is. The story picks up where Civil Refuge, my first book, left off . The introduction should brief you on all that you need to know to make this book fun and exciting. I would, however recommed that you get Civil Refuge and read it first so you will be privy to all of the entire story. Quest for Peace storyline is about a Civil War that is in effect on the planet Ionious with a great cast of characters in the Ionious Army. It is the North against the South and they need a constant contact with God to get them through all of their everyday battles. The South is in a Quest for Peace and the North is out for blood and control of the element Vionium. There is much comedy in the book on both sides. You will also find suspense drama and intrigue. The characters are faced with situations that only a miracle from God could get them through and it happens alot in the book. God literally and figuratively shows up in the book as well as Jesus in a triumphant manner you will just have to get the book and find out for yourself of all the amazing things that God does in this book.

A Story of the Texas Frontier
Author: James Kaye
Publisher: Xlibris Corporation
Louisa of Woods Crossing is about the Texas frontier just prior to the 1836 War of Texas Independence. The fourteen year-old heroine of the story lived during times of hardships and dangers including nightmarish depredations by hostile Indians inclined to barbarous acts. Nothing was more feared than raids on cabins and the terrifying abductions of teen-aged girls. The family homestead on the Lavaca River was that of the typical log cabin with fi elds, pastures, and the customary animals except for two red wolf watchdogs adopted as orphaned pups. The story is also an endearing one of close friendships with other pioneer girls.
